We know Narnia, and I just finished the first book in the Space Trilogy, Out of the Silent Planet. This is an adult's SF/theology series that is quite interesting in its xenobiology elements, too. Heh...that sounded professional...can't go to college for xenobiology...yet...the aliens rocked design-wise. Yes. I have to get a hold of the second book soon. They're written well, with a sense of the wonder.

I have the entire Narnia series. My 6th grade teacher gave them to me. I have yet to read them all though. I started the first one and it was good. Just never got around to reading the rest.
The Space trilogy seems interesting though. Maybe I'll have to check it out.
