Neither actually, though i'd love to do both. Ahsoka being in Revan's time.

That would be cool! Are the patterns on her face tattoos or her natural skin?

I think they're on her skin. Although it's less noticeable than the headtail-stripes, Togrutas have white markings on their bodies which are individual to each one. You can see them on Shaak Ti in TFU.

Aaand I think it'd be a little dangerous to poke Revan.

Aaand I wrote fanfic where Ahsoka got turned into a cyborg a la General Grievous, and Anakin had to kill her (possibly). That's my explanation for why she's not in RotS. Who knows what they'll come up with for "canon" (yes, EU--I have trouble considered TCW canon on the level of the live action movies) though.

Aaand Kit Fisto taking Ahsoka would be interesting, but he's had two Padawans already, the latest being the Mon Cal that Grievous killed.

LOL! For a second there Cy I thought you typed, "...he has two Padawans already".

Part of my brain froze for a second with the thought of "I really don't think that was legal back then" before going back and rereading it.

Sorry, I like Agathos' joke-- mostly because I'm confused about what KT stands for?

No, LOL that wasn't "legal" back then. It was in KotOR time, but then for some reason they changed it.

Rightrightright. I never cared either way about her. I liked her novelization of the movie, but she's no Stover.

Aaand this week's episode managed to transform Barriss Offee from the likeable, morally conflicted character in "MedStar" to...what? A disciplinarian? A tank? A person acting a whole lot younger than she really is? This lack of stable characterization (not only for her, but for just about the whole show--Anakin's really bringing himself down to Ahsoka's level bickering with her like that, although it's not like he was ever all that mature) is making me...consider this show not really canon. I watch it for shiny lightsabers and pretty headtails. XD

Grah. Lack of stable characterization drives me crazy. CRAZY I TELL YOU. Doesn't canon mean anything to these people?! Canon isn't just how things happened and what exploded, it's how people thought and acted and how they possessed, for the most part, consistent personalities (like oh I dunno real and believable people).

As much as I want to afford this series some respect, it doesn't seem to be taking the universe in which it belongs seriously enough for me to validate any of its content with my perception of SW. It's like the writers know they can get away with making the writing shallower than the SW standard because their target demographic appreciates lightsabers and explosions more than skillful plot and characterization.

But just because you know you can get away with something, doesn't mean you ought to do it.

I'm really unhappy with how the characters have "developed". I watch the episodes and keep thinking, "Really? OH COME ON! What?....What?!".

*Sigh* I'm dealing with it as best I can and watch just for the sack of keeping tabs on the characters I like the most, but...even that is stressing me out.

Aw, I try not to let it stress me out--more the opposite really, watching for the lulz to see how much little sense it can make. It could be a drinking game...how many times the strategies ("Let's walk straight out onto the causeway like Revolutionary War battalions, so the droids and Geonosians can attack us from above! But it's okay, we're just doing it to distract the bad guys from the two teenagers we sent into the basement with explosives!") don't make sense.

"But just because you know you can get away with something, doesn't mean you ought to do it." I heartily concur.

Couldn't they find better writers? Put the guys who scripted Avatar on that thing, they'll show 'em.
