I think that I am not being treated fairly on this site and I was told it was a good one where everyone was cool and accepted everyone but p erverts. I am not one but all of you have attack every thing I've said and I wonder why? what have I done that makes you all dislike me so much. I am sorry to argue with you mfb but you have been attacking my every word and it is rather annoying.Snub me once fine snub me twice fine snub me every time not fine.
I've only had to play mod for you once. I think you're exaggerating when you say everyone and every post. Besides, we don't hate you.
Have you ever been part of a forum before? If not, then I can understand why you might think we're attacking you.
You see, on a forum, there's bound to be someone who will "argue" or debate with you. This happens all the time. Just as you aren't required to agree with me, I'm not required to agree with you. That doesn't mean I hate you or that I'm attacking you. I'm only doing what this forum is here for: to voice my opinion and talk to my friends.
The above post is part of a discussion. I wasn't trying to attack, bash, or insult you. I'm simply replying to this post with my opinion.
Now, to reply:
iliveforthis please don't put the phrase wtf on this site even if you put it backwards(see post above this one)
He put the phrase "ftw" which means "for the win." I don't think there's much of an issue with.
mfb you must be at least 20 and remember a time when all games but turn-based strategy and sports games were considered a/a this was late 80s early 90s lets put it this way I hardly remember them due to young age.
Actually, I don't. My era was that of the NES-Present. I'm 18. I grew up with NES and SNES, until I was 10 and bought an N64. Since then I've bought all Nintendo systems, and only Nintendo systems (though I intend to buy a 360).
younger gamers who are you to call us younger gamers mfb?
The fact that I'm older than the younger ones? Oh, and I never directly said you were a younger gamer, only that you might be basing your opinion on their's. You are probably old enough to be in the teen group, rather than in the young gamer group, which tends to be ages 6-13/14. That depends on the person's perception.
GTA is 1 game that we shouldn't talk about because it is a poor game I don't care how well it sells but in it you kill cops and there is content that makes the ones I said i.e. Doom Half-life and Halo look very clean so if you don't like M games to be talk about on this thread than don't say Adult only games.
I definently agree: GTA sucks. But...where did anyone say that they didn't want M games to be talked about?
mfb racing is a sport take mario kart you race for points and you try to beat other racers like in other sports did u see the olympics(sp) speed skating is a sport and its racing and then theres nascar which if you look in a news paper is in the sports part.
I understand what you mean, and in that sense, it is part true. But under that logic, lots of other games could be considered "sports": fighting games have you scoring points against your opponent; arcade games have that same basic principal too, and even some platformers . But because there are so many racing-type games, it seems only fair to give it its own genre. i mean, FPS have their own genre, braching off from basic shooters, so why not racing?
God of War won which game of the year award because there are about 50 different ones
God of War won the Game of the Year from the Acadamy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, the one that counts pretty much. It's the one that goes on the boxes, as well as IGN.com and gamespot.com. (IGN also gave it game of the year).
Here are the winners from 2005:
