Not great?! They are awesome oldies! At least oldies to me since they were around before I was born. Same as with aliens, in fact I think they were both made by James Cameron, not to mention a lot of the same actors were in them.

WOO! The Predator movies were awesome, especially number 2. I love their blood. It glows!
Anyone who hasn't seen the Predator movies must watch them! The only bad thing is that they are rated R, but they aren't really that gory, so I don't know why they are rated that. I've seen much gorier films! But no, they have to rate PREDATORs R!

I've seen plenty of R rated films in my day. And Violence isn't an issue for me. It's the SC that is. If it's there, then it's a movie I can't watch. And don't wanna. Reloaded is the only movie I saw with such a scene, and I closed eyes and ears throughout it.
Never seen preaditor, but heard of it. Probably will see it someday.

Yeah, I hate SC. There's no point for it IMO. It just ruins a good movie most of the time. I love Action movies and mysteries, but everytime there is SC it makes me very angry!

Yeah, it's like they think they have to add it to make the movie "likable." But it ruins it ultimately. Movies that get by without SC are the ones worth watching.
What is the main plot of Preditor, if you can say without spoilers.

Hmmm...Main plot. This is a hard question...(been awhile since I've watched them all the way through)
I forget exactly how the predator gets there in the first one, but I believe he got left behind somehow. In this one he is in the jungle with all these commandos and he starts killing them, so the commandos go after him. (I kno that's not much of a plot, but I haven't watched the first one in SOOO long!)
The second one happens in New York. There are these cult guys (voodoo guys) that are being killed and the cops think it is the other gangs at first, but then they realize people from both gangs are being killed. So then this cop goes after the predator with his crew, but this secret agency steps in and wants to capture the predators because they heard about what happened in the jungle. At the end the Mother ship comes back to get him.
Srry I can't give much more. Like I said it's been such a long time, but I'm watching them tonight and I will be able to tell you more tomorrow!

Cool. I'm not one to like movies just for the action...I like a good story as well.

like the universe it functions in, with the rules of it and the stuff that happened there being important to the story.

T'was interesting. Relied too much on the face-grabber things for fright, though. And the plot could've used a lot of work..... Another movie that I laughed through the entire time....
I know I've seen the first Predator, but, as for the others, I'm not sure. I've seen way too many movies to remember them all. The Predator culture is nifty, though. They should make a movie based on that.

Alien Vs. Predator needed a lot of work. It could've had so much potential, but it was almost...rushed. Especially when the people were impregnated. It took days for the alien to burst out in the original alien movies! And how long did it take in Alien VS Predator?! A couple of hours! That made me very mad. It's almost like the creators didn't watch the original movies.
I loved how the predators were portrayed though. The aliens were...ok. They should've elaborated more on the connection between the aliens and the predators though. They really didn't say much except that the predators were there to hunt them as part of their "ritual".
The other thing that got me mad was the person they used for Weyland. If you saw Aliens and Alien 3, you would know that the same actor played Bishop the android and CHarles Bishop the creator. So by putting this same actor in AVP as a totally different character was very confusing. Then they killed him! Oh man that got me. And they killed the Italian guy too! He was one of the main characters and they killed him! Then they left the main character standing out in the middle of nowhere at the end of the movie. Personally I think she should've gone with the Predators. *snicker*
Anyway, enough of my angered rant that I am writing for no reason at all. I am just so in love with the Alien and Predator movies.
They were both made by James Cameron I think too...

I knew the Italian guy was going to die right at the beginning of the movie. Because they attempted to make you attatched to him, and that means there's going to be a heartrending death somewhere near the end. Yeah.
I've got that kind of movie figured out.

Yeah, they didn't really do to good of a job developing the characters. I hate when they just throw in a character who is all macho and cool without developing them (I mean the female character) When one is confused about a character, even a little bit, it usually means they didn't develop them enough. But then again over developing is a problem too...
srry, going off topic.
