Every one believes in A god. It doesn't have to be the God and it could even be several gods. If you believe you control your life, then in a way you believe u are a sort of god. If you believe in evolution and science, then science could be considered a type of god.
I believe in a god, but it may not be the same god others believe in. your god doesn't even nessecerily have to be real to anyone else as long as it is someone for you to look up to and believe in.
I don't believe really believe in a devil. I believe the devil was created centuries ago so that people could have some one to blame thier faults and mistakes on, Ex. "The devil made me do it."
oops ther is dinner I will have to finish my thoughts later.

We could make a religion thread if somebody wants...I have some speculations about the devil as well...and the nature/personification of evil is a rather fascinating subject. Many Christians, religion-ists in general, have no firm belief in the dark forces that are as real as God. If there was no devil, there would be no sin, and humans would have no choice or free will. I think God allowed Satan to make the original fall so that we would be able to make our choice, dark and light.
On to existance. Ever wonder why our world is so plotless? Maybe for a reader/writer I would pick up on this, but we just plain don't have any plot, no beginning-end sequences that minght bring some satisfaction to our lives. How did the first writers figure out how to make stories in a format so unlike the life we are surrounded with?
On that note, the problem is that we are right in the middle of existance. Can we truely see its full shape while being a part of it? Maybe, like the Matrix, it must be gone out of to understand.

Well if the devil is real, I'm sure he has quite the interesting personality....

[glow=red,2,300]Things we read about what the devil is like I think is false.. Do we really know what he is like? No.. Will we ever?... I don't think so.. I don't think I believe in a God.. I am a person living an every day life and no one is there to see that threw or help me out.. I am confused.. I think we crossed over existance and depression?! I don't know but, I just wrote all about existance in the depression thread.. But, this thread is kind of depressing..[/glow]

*shrug* In my mind if you open yourself up to investigating the truths possibly found in religion it is a good thing...but if you're depressed, ok, we go back to existance! UHM!

I think we could use a religion thread. What, exactly, are you confused about, Spaz? Maybe we could help you?

*shrug* sure. we talk about anything our plugged-in minds come up with. And there is a thread now if anyone wants to debate/talk about religion.

What if, when you died, the last thing you saw was a black space before you and the glowing letters GAME OVER...

hmm....that does have potential, doesn't it? Maybe we are one big RPG. But who would want to play THIS? And what would be the advantage of having the...played...not know that's what's going on? *ponders*

Okay well here is what I have came up with... I think it does have potential... Is it really a RPG?? I mean there is always that possibility... I don't think so though... I think if people were to know that this was a game they wouldn't want to play it... When you play games don't you take a chance and wait to see what happens? People aren't supposed to know because maybe it is supposed to be unexpected and adventurous.. If we all knew what was going to happen it wouldn't be as fun as not knowing.. It keeps you going and if we knew then, people would stop because they knew what was going to happen and it isan't as much fun.... I have to ponder this some more...

I think we are the ones playing.. This is all a game and no one can stop it but, we can only be ourselves and fight off all evil.. What comes, comes.. I mean we can't tell what is going to happen.. and now has past

That also brings up this question; the suspicious lack of plots in the real world. If a plot is defined as a seuence of events that are all connected and add up to a mostly satisfying ending, there are like none in real life. Why? It is a weird thing. And so where did the first writer come up with such a possibility? Old myths had plots. Hmm.

GameOver((The above requires Windows Media Player...sorry bout the bad quality. My camera doesn't have a mic, so I had to connect directky to the comp and blah, so it's not that great. : )
