[[AHH I HAVE SO MUCH TO CATCH UP ON ;__; ]]
Kon coughed and gurgled and groaned as he was so rudely awakened from his floating around on what seemed like Cloud City. It was so peaceful and calming and- He blinked his bright gold eyes, a harsh light on above him. He knew Tranner was in the room, and someone else... It was that Epsilon guy! Right.. they had been fighting him and...
"Any questions?" "One question. Are they all this barbaric where you come from?"
Kon had missed whatever else Epsilon had said before. "Yeah." He sat up, cracking his neck. "The kriff was that for? My lekku are killing me."

[[Eh, we just went a little enthusiastic. ^_^ ]]
They didn't make missiles like they used to. Anything wielded by the bounty hunters who used to go after Jedi would have had a bigger blast radius than that--but Nighthawk's luck wouldn't last long. Ruen ignited her lightsaber and batted away the flurry of blasterbolts. The red saber felt awkward in her hands since she had not used it in so long. She lashed forward, aiming for taking the barrel of the blaster off.

Nighthawk pulled back, bringing his body forward as he brough his blaster back, releasing the trigger momentarily, Nighthawk let the lightsaber duck past him for the moment and brought his blade forward to slash at Ruen's chest and then as he twisted counter-clockwise to the right of Ruen, he brought his foot out aiming to kick Ruen in the ribs, well out of range of any retaliation from the lightsaber attack for now.

The kick glanced Ruen's side as she sidestepped to the opposite side of Nighthawk. His blade missed but she stumbled, her own footwork faster than she expected. Her next saberstrike was aimed for the Mando sword but would go wide, she knew it as soon as she began.
She thought, This is not the salle. This is not....what was his...Obi-Wan. That was his name. How could I forget?

[ccccc-ooombo breaker]
Nighthawk could sense victory. His opponent was tiring and making more mistakes than he was, but he was worried this was just a ploy to open himself up. So instead of dodging the blade, Nighthawk brought his beskad up and blocked the blade from coming back towards him as he leaned and tried to grab Ruen by the throat with his crushgaunts, trying to choke the life out of her.

The beskad seemed to hook the edge of the lightsaber blade and hold it there humming, spitting sparks at both of their masked faces. Ruen felt the hand catch around her throat and pulled back, but crushgaunts were called that for a reason. She continued to press forward with the lightsaber, trying to break or angle around his blade while he was choking her, but dark spots started plashing in front of her eyes as she expanded more precious oxygen than if she'd just stopped fighting. This is so stupid, her struggling brain managed to think. I call myself a Sith Lord and get taken out by this brute. I'm sorry I wasn't a worthier opponent for you, Obi-Wan. The names of her friends from forty years ago start repeating in her head as if she's in class again and the roster is being read. Obi-Wan. Present. Bruck. Present. Asha. Present. Kate. Missing.

Nighthawk smiled beneath his mask, while he knew he was going to win, she had proved a useful adversary for him, and he aknowledged that. While he kept choking her, he allowed her to collapse and lean forward, still attacking, as a warrior should die, falling forward for one last charge.

She felt her world go black. Senses faded slowly. The Force went last, hammering at her like a heartbeat, saying work. work. live. She could feel Nighthawk so close, physically and mentally, that she could touch him.
Obi-Wan. Had that been the last person she touched, back on Tatooine when she shook his hand and left him, walking into the desert with a tiny bit of stolen data in her mind...data he had allowed her to steal?
It wasn't enough to preserve her beyond death without a body, as Qui-Gon had been, but maybe it was enough for this.
Ruen pushed her Force energy out into Nighthawk. She felt her mind encounter his as she gained a sudden sick sense of her body falling, let go. Her mind clutched Nighthawk's, tunneling into his thoughts, residing instead of controlling. Like family. Like fellow soldiers.
But she was Sith, and so she worked toward control. She clasped Nighthawk's mind and, without all senses but the Force, began to live off it.

Nighthawk suddenly gasped as he let Ruen drop to the floor and grabbed his head. His mind was reeling and he felt an alien presence as it seemed to him that he was halfway in his body, halfway out, observing the rest of the world as if in a dream. He had half a mind to leave his body and simply drift off into oblivion, but his mind or at least something, was telling him to hold on, to rebel and to push back this presence. Somehow though, he just couldn't bring himself to completely push back the presence, whatever it was. It was like a bout of hiccups that never quite went away no matter how much you held your breath; eventually you needed to take a breath reflexively. So he settled for trying to supress that presence down into the deep core of his thoughts and mind, the last thing he thought before he blacked out from confusion.

He fought with strength, but in the end he was overwhelmed. (She could feel exactly how overwhelmed he was, how confused.) Just as she started to feel an accord settle in, the odd sensation of his consciousness shutting off fell over her. For a moment she felt like following it, but without a body, she had no where to go--and so she was alone with his breathing lungs and beating heart.
She tried to move his arms, but there was no way--she was not in his brain physically, so had no control over his physical form. The Force, though...
She felt it as if from a distance. She tried to move his arm, but it felt like back when she was a Padawan and first learning. She reeled a bit, adjusting.
Then she looked at her own body.
She had no idea what would be done with it; even now there was no one who would bother to burn or bury her. The shoulder she could see beneath the white cloak was so thin. (She had never thought of herself as thin.)
Frightened, she tried to wake up Nighthawk. Without his brain conscious, she probably wouldn't be able to pull information from him, although she really had no idea how this worked or even how it was possible. She would try and control him later. But for now, as angry as it made her, she really wanted some human, talkative company to be confused with.
Warrior! She said internally. What has happened to you, hmm?

Glitch smiled at Ka’s accepting his invitation. “Awesome! Instruction can be boring at times but some classes are really interesting. The homework isn’t bad either if you work on it in class.” He said as they left for the lifts.
He continued to chat as they waited for the turbo lift to reach their level. “Hey! You might even have Jird as a classmate. He always seems a bit cross around non-reptilian sentient, so he’ll probably enjoy meeting you. The only other non-humanoid here is his hatchmate Zash…who you may want to avoid. Zash doesn’t like anyone. Not even Jird from time to time, I think.” Just as Glitch finished the doors parted to reveal a two meter tall wall of lean scaled muscle.
“Oh! Hello Jird. How are you today?” He amended as the reptilian’s foot long crest raised like a flag above his long wedged skull. Two razor sharp fangs were visible as they locked past each other with an audible click as the opposite tips slipped into the impressions in the jaw. His nostrils flared as he leaned his neck forward to investigate Ka. He stopped when his snout was just a hand span away from her’s and flicked a blue forked tongue to taste the air.
“Thiz one iz new here. What iz your name? Where iz itz pack?” He rasped after a moment’s pause. The depth of his voice reverberating in his chest, causing a slight rumble to follow each syllable like a roll of distant thunder. He froze and waited in place as only a reptile could. His jaws still hovering so close to Ka he could feel her breath on his scales.

Grumbling like a Kath hound in heat, Nighthawk wondered why there was a colony of ewoks dancing around in his head. He didn't remember drinking any tihaar, but it wasn't out of the question. Reaching back into the recesses of his mind, he really couldn't figure out what he had been doing anyways. There was a relatively attractive women lying next to him though, so it didn't take long for his male ego to take over and assume there had been some mature situations before. Imagining her in his arms with her bare flesh against his...well it wasn't hard to see the attraction. Deciding he would let the ewoks rampage around some more before he sat up, he activated his built in commnlink to contact anyone who was on the other line. Right now he felt like showing off his conquest of this woman anyways.
"Hello?"

Ka was reassured by seeing someone whose face she could read. She wasn't sure what species he was, though. He talked like a Barabel, but the crest on his head was as expressive as a bird's, and she hadn't thought Barabel had that.
She moved backward slightly. "Ka-Du-Roan. I'm from Tiss'sharl. My pack--" My family needs me but it's so easy to see this place as a normal school I might as well pretend--
But then she had another idea. She squared her shoulders and looked at Glitch.
"My pack are the Jedi."

Ruen's vision was blurring and making the body in front of her seem to change age at will. A voice in the back--no, more like on the side of her head--was babbling about women.
She was pretty sure her plan had worked, but being without a body made it hard to know what to expect in any circumstance.
She spoke into Nighthawk's mind. "Hello, oh foolish one." She was pretty certain he couldn't read her mind back--she couldn't read his, just his emotions like she normally could with the Force.
Still, she tried not to think of the old Order.

Woah. What the hell. Had he really drinken that much Tihaar? Hearing voices in his head ranked way up there in 'things I don't want to have going on'. Deciding he would dismiss this voice as a figment of his imagination, Nighthawk remembered Skywalker was supposed to be around here somewhere. Looking around, he couldn't see him, and then remembered the commnlink. Switching the frequency over to Skywalker's, Nighthawk stood up, gave his head a whack to clear out any remaining ewoks, and did his best to speak clearly into the helmet.
"Skywalker? You there. I've finished with the problem we had, though i'm having a little trouble remembering."

Ruen mentally shook herself, trying to get Nighthawk to pay attention. She hadn't expected it to be like this, but then she hadn't taken over his mind...she had simply ingratiated herself into it. She could use this to get valuable information about Skywalker.
"Nighthawk," she said. "You're not alone in here. Stop deluding yourself and listen."
Where normally she would have enhanced the sound of her voice with the Force, she could do nothing. However, she could feel other channels to work with. She could still summon lightning through Nighthawk's hands, even if she couldn't move them.
As soon as he moved his hand away from his head, Ruen summoned the lightning. It arced from his hand to the floor.

WOAH WHAT. He still couldn't quite understand the voice, if it was a voice at all. It seemed to be more of a buzzing noise in the back of his neck, and it freaked Nighthawk out. It freaked him out even more so when frigging lightning shot from his crushgaunts. He had never in his life seen that before. I mean, his armor had some pretty nasty weapons that had been installed into it that Nighthawk hadn't heard about or had come from it's previous user(s) but he had never seen this before. Had his hud short circuited? He didn't think so, but if that was true he had better get back to the base to check it out. In the middle of an enemy encampment with Skywalker taking a coffee break or something, he wasn't about to just strip down and let someone take care of him.
"Skywalker? I'm starting to get freaked out man. I think my hud might have short circuited and i'm hearing...something in the back of my head. Help?"

"Any questions?" "One question. Are they all this barbaric where you come from?"
Kon had missed whatever else Epsilon had said before. "Yeah." He sat up, cracking his neck. "The kriff was that for? My lekku are killing me."
Epsilon gave an apologetic nod to Kon. “The reversing agents sometimes have that affect. In other species it can cause nausea, so its good to see you are having a milder reaction to its introduction.”
“To answer your question, Tranner,” Epsilon began, “It would depend on the circumstances and whether or not you are referring to the Council’s Sentinels or the Seekers themselves. They are two different castes and differ somewhat in their purpose.”
***
"My pack are the Jedi."
Before Jird could respond to that reply, a stern voice came over the intercom overhead. “Students please refrain from loitering in the turbo lift as it prevents others from reaching their required destination.” There was a beat of silence as if the speaker was confused about something. “One of you please escort Miss Ka to registration.” Jird merely made a soft nonverbal rumble that may have been his form of an acknowledgment and pulled his neck back into the confines of the turbo lift. Wrapping his lengthy tail around his clawed three toed feet, he made room for Ka and Glitch. Glitch gestured for the two of them to join him and was dwarfed by the reptile’s mass when he moved to stand beside him.
“So I’ll take that as you telling me you'll be her guide from here?” Glitch asked the reptilian student as the turbo lift started once more. “Thiz one doez not mind.” He rasped, his black eye watching the pair without turning his head. “You think the Council will make good on its threat if things don’t work out?” The scrapping of claw against the metallic floor and a creeping of crimson through his blue green crest told of the male’s reluctance to talk about it. “It remainz to be zeen.” Came his simple reply.
He lightly touched the holo panel signaling for the lift to stop at the next level. Upon it opening, he uncoiled his tail and strode out of the lift. His neck twisted over his shoulder as he kept up the long steady strides. “Thiz way Ka.”
Glitch shrugged. “I guess I’ll see you at midday break. Enjoy your classes!”
