This guy has a ton of books out and has become fairly popular as of late. I just read the book When the Wind Blows and then the sequel The Lake House. I think I liked the first book better, but they were both very good. I read the first one in less than a week.
I just picked up another of his books from the library and I still have to read Maximum Ride.
Who else has read his books? I definitely reccommend the two mentioned above.

I would like to hear more about the plots of the two above. I liked Maximum Ride a lot for a teen novel. The concept is not all that original or full of potential, but it is done well and the characters are interesting and pretty realistic. In a way it's a wish-fulfillment plot, but doesn't work out like that. People were bashing it on this writers' site I'm on...so I defended it.

DOUBLE POSTSES!! NO!! It's been a long time.
SO I just finished When the Wind Blows. It was pretty good, fast-paced, which I need to work on, and interesting, and scary, but his words themselves got me a little irked after a whle. In the having it fast paced and sussinct he gained some choppiness that got annoying in a published, popular writer. It's his style, but it's a bit annoying. I thought these two would be more 'seriously' worded than Maximum Ride and they are in content but not in style.

I rather liked the way he wrote. I tend to enjoy fast paced books, because I hate things that drawl on forever and ever. I thought his words and phrases were catchy, yet simple.
