As some of u may know, I am obsessed with animals, and I make it a point to start a thread like this on every board. Soooooo, What kinds of pets do u have? (include their names too)
I guess I'll start:

But she is Gandalf the Grey's older sister! 1 dog (Butchy) 2 hermit crabs (Buster and Rusty) But then there's bunnies that live in my yard but don't have names soooo yeah. Cy: Is Sylvester the One? No other Golden compares, in looks at least. ;D And my other pet is our cat, Kitty. (Origonal, huh? ;D) She was rescued from our Grandparents house and we took her. Yep. That's mine. ;D

ah, ok. She told me that in school today, actually.
My turkey was walking around in the snow and looking like her feet were freezing. Yet she did not go inside. She must have had a mission. Or been numb.

My chickens were always afraid to walk in the snow. They'd fly between bare patches and tops of buildings.

there's nothing to be afraid of about most dogs. Do your parents not want one? I would have more chickens if my dad didn't think logically about their housing arrangements.

Thats strange that ur cats go to the bathroom on the floor, but that should be a fixable problem. Perhaps u need another litter box for them, or maybe they need to be retrained. Some cats get all goofy like that as they get older. (crazy cats ;D) U could also put them in a room with a couple of litter boxes and shut the door for a couple days. That way they would have to use the boxes, and it would refresh their memory.
I also read something somewhere about spraying something on the floor where they go pee and it would stop them from doing that. The cats might be marking their spots and if u spray with ur "own scent", so to say, they would stop. I think there was vinegar in it, but I will check it out.
Hope this helps. Cats can be such hard creatures to figure out.
Also, about the dogs, ur parents don't really have to be afraid of a dog dying, because if u truly love the dog and get attached to it and cherish the moments u have with him/her, when it dies, u will miss it, but u will also apreciate the beauty of the dog more, and u will remember all the good times.
Everything dies at one point or another, and I see it all the time since I keep so many animals. (not ALL the time, but more often) Sometimes I lose my favorites, but I just remember that I gave them the best life I could, and that they died loved, so their life was well lived. I'm not telling u to go out and get a dog, but perhaps this might help with the death of any other animal. Don't worry though, we hope for nice long lives for all animals ;D
