...time to leave for college, that is. I know there are a few other college bound students here on this site *coughcycough* and I would love to share some experiences! I'm leaving August 25th for my dorm, and that same day I go with 200 other freshmen students to an adventure retreat in central Jersey.
I'm really starting to get excited and a little bit nervous too! I hope that I remember everything, even though it's not a big deal if I forget something. Right now I'm in the process of transferring all my data from my current computer to my new laptop. It's not that difficult, just time consuming.
I'm almost done with all my shopping too. I just have to get food stuff to make in the microwave. I'm also busy doing last minute things with friends. I had a few people call up and want to get together before I leave. It's definitely a little sad, but I just keep remembering that I'm not leaving forever!
So come on peoples, when does everybody else leave for school? What have you been doing to get ready? Oh yeah, my school actually starts on the 5th of sept.

Eh, college is a waste of my time right now. I've spent so many years in school i'm just working my *** off and enjoying life.

I'm really excited about college. I'm leaving for Welcome Week, when only freshmen are on campus, on the 26th, and classes start after the holiday weekend. My roommate seems very nice and we've arranged all we need for the dorm like a microwave etc. My shopping is pretty much done.  Actually I'm so eager to go that any time this week not spent packing feels strange, like I'm missing something, like I should be gone and I'm not. I'm so ready to be away from my family for a while. |

I haven't heard from you lately! Did you fall off the face of the planet? E-mail me! Call me! Send me morse code! (One kid I know tried sending morse code using the different light settings on his clock to his roommate) I tried calling the other day but your phone was turned off (Talking to Cy). I'm sure your classes have started. I'd love to hear how they are going.

LOL, Silver, I was actually thinking about sending you a pigeon with a message on its leg the other day. I am doing very well. Classes are fun except for math of course. I got a telescope for astronomy and I looked at the moon the other day--it looked really 3D, and you could see the exact mountain ranges where one side was bright and the other dark (it was a half moon).

As of right now, I don't have to take math. I really don't want to, but we'll see. I have two essays due this week. Not really looking forward to writing them, but at least we don't get them very often.

I have to take only one semester of math for my major, and that's what I'm in now. I still can't send e-mails to you, btw. I think they get to you if I reply to one you send, but I can't send one out.
(Do you have a facebook? Is facebook really all that great?)

I just recently got a facebook and I like it. It can be a little confusing at first, but it's a nice way to keep in touch with people and to get to know people around your campus. Colin Gross has one and a few other people you know too.
I don't know why you can't send e-mails. That's very strange. I can send you one that you can just keep to respond to. You could always send me PMs here too. I check here pretty often...hoping someone posts! LOL.
