Here it is: the ESPS Council; the thread where us, the members, get to present ideas to eachother and vote upon wheather or not we want them. A run down of how it works follows:
The ESPS Council will act as the common way of presenting an idea for the site. Wanna see a certain background for the site? Post it and we’ll vote. If the majority agrees, the site’s background will be the one that you chose. Want a new RPG? Post, and votes will come. Again, majority decides. Our majority won’t be the 2/3rds norm, due to the small size of out community. Instead, it’s just the total number of “yeas” or “nays” that decide.
Here’s exactly how it’ll work. There will be ONE thread in the “What Say You?” category. There, ANY member may post their idea for the site. The ideas must follow the below rules:
What it is intended for are the following:
Basically, if you have an idea you’d like to see the site take advantage of, you can post it in the thread and all the members will vote yea or nay on the matter. Try to keep your ideas within reason. No asking for a thread for Boobah, you know? For one thread, at least, we’ll have to keep it (or at least, the ideas presented) random-free.After there have been sufficient votes, the majority will win: more yeas than nays, you get your idea; more nays than yeas, your idea it isn’t implemented. The admins do reserve the right to veto a decision if it interferes with the betterment of the site. But they’ll act within reason. They won’t veto your background just because it’s not SW. But if it’s fluffy pink stuff…*shudders*
Basically, that's how it will work. If you like the idea, say so. If you don't, then say so. The only way this will work is with everyone's co-operation.
For our first Council decision, I'd like to ask everyone if the liked the idea of the countdown we had earlier. Would you like to see this for other major events? For example, the new Zelda game, Pirates of the Carribean 2, Maybe Chronicles of Narnia, or other such things? In other words, would you like to make countdowns a normal ESPS event?
I say: yea.

- It can not pertain to self-rank (i.e., yourself becoming a mod)
- It can not affect the removal of the rank of a member
- It can not affect the deletion or banning of a member
- And it cannot humiliate a member in a rude way
What it is intended for are the following:
- The changing (removal/addition) of a site feature (i.e., backgrounds, color layouts, smileys, special coding, etc.)
- The addition of a board or thread that require an admin’s approval (i.e., RPGs, new types of boards, etc.)
- The proposal of site events (i.e., countdowns, mass member meetings/chats, etc.)
- Or other similar things
