EEK! How come I didn't see this before? Oh well! I LOVED IT! My fave Star Wars...totally! #4 fave movie of all time, just below the three LotRs. People can argue it was sad or angysty, but I loved it. OBI-WAN ROCKS! *dyes* Anakin...poor guy. I felt sorry for him. Darth Vader on the other hand...I consider him a totally different person. EVIL! DON'T KILL THE YOUNGLINGS! *tear* And order #66...*tear again* And poor Obi when Vader says "I hate you!" *tears* Such a wepic movie.

Just noticed it, alright then. ;D It was a moving flick. The dialogue could have been better. I, in a way, enjoyed the scenes of order 66--they were dramatic. They were sad. Plo Koon gets to go out in a ball of fire. The whole Mustafar scene was good. And how Yoda killed the Red Guards...lol. It was...quick. *tear for Kit* So the entire reason Anakin went to the sark side was because, well he always had this little drakness within thim, this fear he wanted banished and anger could banish it. And added on to that was the death of his mother and what if the same thing happened to Padme. But why exactly, then, did he choke her? It was like he was consumed by the rage part, and completely forgot his motives. Which is what happened. He was consumed by Darth Vader, as Obi-wan says. But at some points it sounded like he was going to the dark side because of love, which even I can not say is right. Love is light side because it epitomizes compassion. But it also complicates things vastly. Greivous was awesome. He was so cool in the cartoons too; he walked like a Velociraptor. What does a Kaleesh look like?? *wracks brain* "So this is how democracy dies...to thunderous applause." POOR OBI! I felt for him when he turned and left. That was...moving.

We sat in the second row. I went with my brother DG, Stacie (zoo friend) (the three of us in costume), Mary C, Krysta, and my dad. (THey were not in costume but the girls carried Lightsabers. ) We laughed, we cryed. I have some friends who are like: "You cryed? Why?" . So like I hope the other times I go is with people who have a heart to cry for the Younglings, the Jedi, Padme, Mace. But espcialy for the younglings.I started crying when they killed Mace. Then had this inner fear for what was next. Order 66, yes, thats it, we where all crying, shoulder to shoulder. I dont think my dad or brother cryed, but us girls did. Wepic I say. I LOVED IT!! poor Yoda, at the end. That made me sad too.

I convinced my mother to let me go as a birthday thingy, got back earlier this aftrenoon.
But what can I say - it was, well, awesome. I will stand up and admit that it's the first time I actually cried in a film, but when Vader said that he hated Obi I couldn't help it. So sad, so evil and sad. And order 66... That was nasty, the action was great though. I liked Obi's dragon thing, that creature was really cute, until it fell down the hole and died. Poor thing. And the killing Mace bit was so nasty, because I was practically yelling (silently of course) at Anikin... Vader... whichever he was at that point to stop Sideous and save Mace. But he didn't!
Now I just have to convince my friend to decide that she needs to watch it and that I have to go with her so that I can go again!

I know a couple people who got contraband DVDs and I am MAD...no illigality for Star Wars!

They never really showed what happened to the dragon thing. It may have lived, especially if obi wan lived.
I saw the movie for the second time last night with a friend.
Anikan was cooler the second time, but I am in to that whole "turning" evil thing.
No, I didn't cry, but I am not one to cry at movies. It was an emotional movie, but I liked the action and the turning evil part of it the best.
I think my favorite scene was the one where anakin is walking through the hallways of the jedi temple folled by the clone troops. That one scene was just awesome. Then he killed the "Younglings" and I swear if they said younglings one more time in that movie I would've jumped out of a window. That word was just annoying.
Do you notice that everytime they fight, they throw down their robes somewhere on the ground and then magically they have another one, even if they never picked it up before leaving? Did you also notice that every time they talked seriously, they would walk around in circles looking at eachother. And why do ppl always have to talk so much before killing ppl? If Mace would've just shut up and killed that palpatine dude, there wouldn't have been such a problem *evil grin*.
...but then again there would've been no Darth Vader and that would not be...good.
I'm sorry guys, but last night when I saw the movie and the part where Darth Vader begins breathing through his mask I cracked up and couldn't stop laughing. My friend next to me kept nudging me and couldn't figure out what I was laughing about. I have one word (or maybe two?) for you: Spaceballs. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL OMG! Darth Helmet!!!! Heheheheh!!!! "There's only one person brave enough to give me the raspberry!"
And last but not least, General Grievous, Yoda, and R2D2 rox! Obi wan is cool too, but not as cool as grievous or Yoda.

OK, I can't remember which part of the film it was but was that the incomplete Death Star that I could see out the window? I think Palpatine was showing Anikin/Vader something, although I'm not sure.

Yeah, at the end when DV and Palpatine were standing side by side looking out the window was when they were looking at the Death Star.

LOL! I laughed more than I cryed. I dont know why but for some reason we just cracked up when they showed the Wookie Army. Sometimes we just craked up, like some of the Padme/Anni lines. OMg that was funny.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Yeah, the fakeness was at times amusing but there were some good bits of dialogue.
Okay, another question. When Anikin is still Anikin, is he still a Padawan? Because I though he was... but now I'm not sure. I mean, he's lacking in the braid and hairstyle thing but he still seems like he's Obi-Wan's Apprentice. I'm confised?

Anakin IS a Jedi Knight during Ep III. In the Clone Wars cartoon, they show him being knighted. BUT! Apparently Master is completely different then Knight. I found that pretty interesting.
The wookie army was hillariously stupid. Something about a bunch of hairy guys chearing a battle cry is very humorous.

Yeah, I agree about the wookies. Something about that just didn't fit right. Chewie alone in the older three movies was awesome, but an army of Chewies? Nah...it just doesn't work.

lol, that;s a way to put it. That fight could have been a lot cooler though. More action, less...Tarzan yells and effects? Yeah, see Anakin is a Knight (not a Master, that's a rank up) but since he and Obi are good friends, they go on a lot of missions together even though Anakin can go out on his own, and Ani hasn't gotten out of the "Yes Master" habit. It has been officially decided that Lucas needs a co-writer for dialogue.

Okay, I get it now. Thanks, guys. Heh, yeah he needs help with dialogue. A co-author would be good, some of the lines really are awful. Either that or they've been repeated so many times throughout the film that they lose all semblance of decentness.

If Cy had a hold of the script, she'd create dialouge that'd rival anything out there. Heck, I bet if any of us had it we could get better lines.
Lucas has good ideas, but they're badly executed at times. The later half of the movie was pretty good though, dialouge wise.

YES I WOULD! Sorry...he had ghost writers in the trilogy, especially ESB. I wonder who wrote, "No Luke, Obi-wan killed you're father." Or wait, wasn't it...!!!
