Talk about your experiences either in college or in finding and financing one? I'm having trouble...

I went to see Rutgers and I loved it. They have an indoor pool. What more can I ask for?
I'm probably going to rely on scholarships, parents, and student loans. Haven't really brought it up with my parents of how much I'm going to have to pay and how much they'll cover, but I figure I'll wait till I actually decide where I'm going.

Does it seem weird to anyone that we are going to be going to college soon? I've been home-schooled up until my sophomore year in high school and now I'm a senior. It just amazes me that I only have one more year of high school and the fact that in three months I will be having my eighteenth birthday. I'm not even sure what I want to do with my life once I graduate, much less what I want to do with it after finishing college.

One of my friends is going to Rutgers, but it never appealed much to me.
I was told that you should apply first to a school and then if they'll take you figure out how much it's going to cost, cause you don't have to go to or pay (except some fees) a school you are accepted to.
Real Life is a big shock to me.
I visited Sarah Lawrence this week--very expensive, very artsy, almost too free but a very nice campus, exceptional academics, pirate attacks.

Haha...it's funny to go back and read some of these topics...especially this one.
A little more than a year ago I had my heart set on going to Rutgers. Today, I am very, very, very glad I decided not to go there. So far Stockton has been very good to me. I can't believe a year ago I had no idea what I was going to do for college. I remember being so frustrated with guidance and feeling so stressed out. I almost felt I wanted nothing to do with it.

I totally forgot about this thread, and it's mad weird to look back on. I suppose at every age one is slightly shocked to be that age. Now I'm in the "le gasp I'm suddenly a junior!" stage.

I know the feeling, I'm shocked about my age as well. How did I ever get this old?!
Of course, in twenty years I'm going to be looking back at this and pining for my lost and wasted youth.
If I'm even still alive.

Hehe, lost and wasted youth...how can we ever tell what's wasteful and what will prove important in the future? Any time could be wasted, any time could be grasped, no matter one's age...

See, that's the impossible part, knowing what's wasted and what isn't!
So I basically just consider my life wasted until proven otherwise. That way I don't have to deal with disappointment.

Wouldn't it work better the other way around? Thinking that everything might have meaning and purpose, even if we can't and never get to see it?
I had a conversation about coincidences today, about things like meeting someone one day at the beach, hanging out with them, and not seeing them again until you meet in some other random place years later. Things like that make me think that the world is smaller than it often appears, that there could be a plot to it all. XD

In Terminator, they continually say "There's no fate but what we make". I love that quote (Well, because its in my favorite show), but I don't think that's what I really believe.
But I must say I liked Surfersquids outlook. Definitely made me LOL. I hate disappointment.

Oh, I'm certain there's a plot. It's just difficult to see when you don't have the entire book in front of you, and you didn't start reading the pages from the beginning.
