Ok guys, I was going through a bunch of stories of mine and I came upon this old poem. I thought it was an interesting idea, but it is like from 5th grade, so don't laugh if u think it's stupid ;D
Realizing Time
Time is but a killer to us mortals.
It has no beginning and it has no end.
Time is the high and Mighty King on Earth,
For we must listen to everything it tells us to do.
And if we don't listen we become late.
Time has no boundaries.
It does as it pleases.
Speeds up or slows down,
Brings life and kills life.
The only way to escape time is to become immortal.
A man who rebels against time can slow it down,
and use it to his advantage,
Yet he is not immortal.
A man who understands time can then stop it,
Thus bringing immortality upon himself.
Ok, it's kinda weird, but like I said, it was written a long time ago, so who knows what I was thinking.
