Here is a short poem of randomness. Tis not what it sounds. Actually, most of this is in the Randomness thread...but AC! I believe it still counts.
Randomness! Defender of Truth and Light!
"This is but one of the legends of which the people speak..."
One's heart is of the most precious things,
When you are blissful, it sings,
When sad, it sinks,
When in love, it flies,
When depressed, it dies.
This is a tale of one such heart,
Which the power of depression tore apart.
Even sadness was engulfed by the black,
It felt as if its love was on the rack.
In the dark of night, it leached its might,
Draining the heart of all its light,
It towered above all that was good,
All was black; silent all stood.
The shadow of depression lied overhead,
All seemed lost; hope was dead,
Then in the sky, clouds parted by light,
Fell upon that which shone in the night.
Randomness, randomness! Your bravery shone!
Vibrant as gold; strong as stone.
With one shrill cry the enemy thundered,
You held your ground as all fell asunder.
Onward the battle raged, to and fro,
But the darkness seemed only to grow,
Spears clashed; bows rang;
Shields crashed; swords sang,
And through it all, your hope shone bright,
Even as evil seemed to win the fight.
With one swift slash, your sword came down,
Sending a fatal blow to the enemy's crown.
And look at them flee, the worthless cowards!
Your sword was too strong; they fled from your power.
And so the darkness of dispair was dispelled;
And forever in reverence would your name be held,
Randomness! Defender of Truth and Light!
Your humor has given us the strength to fight.
You have given hope to those without any,
Brightening the minds and hearts of many.
