Part of my short fic concerning Sergyons. I was bored in class and so I started typing up the first part.
"You're coming with us."
For a brief moment I was confused, caught between a world of dreams and the strange reality I live in.
"Shataarah? Did you hear me? You're going to have to come with us....now."
Again came the voice above a low murmur in the background. This time I was awoken from my slumber. I looked around sleepily and saw blurry silhouettes standing around my bed. Quickly I sat up, realizing what was happening.
"On who's authority?" I questioned. "And how did you get in here?"
"You'v been infected. You are a danger to the rest of us. You must be contained," spoke Thompson, the leader of the group, who I have come to dislike.
"You don't know what you're talking about," I replied dangerously, giving him a look. "Where's Kay?"
As if reading my mind, Kay astepped through the door. "What is the meaning of this?"
"Your wife has been infected by the Serpeants. We all know it," stammered the leader, now bit intimidated by Kay's appearance. "A room has been set up. She will be contained there."
"You have no business in this! Who's to say the rest of us aren't infected as well? With your actions we probably all are!" Kay was getting angry.
I got up quickly and stood between the two, fearing the fact that Kay's temper would take the best of him.
*Srry ya'll I must go to class. I will finish as soon as I get more time.*

"Kay, I'll go with them. It'll be ok." I told him, looking deeply into his dark blue Knaroxxian eyes.
"Shataarah," He said c o c king his head in a worried manner.
"Keep them safe, Kay." I replied, then sent another message mentally. <Even if they do deserve to die....it is our job to keep them safe.>
I then grabbed my favorite black jacket off the back of a chair and followed Thompson out of the room, while the rest of the group surrounded me. I figured they thought I would potentially go mental on them.
"Thompson, you know you're wrong. Even if the Serpeants did get to me, I'm not a danger to anyone. You know that," I whispered fiercely into his ear, still following closely behind. "I don't know who you're working for, but I will find out. I know what you are trying to do."
With this Thompson spun around angrily and met my firery gaze.
"You don't know who you are dealing with, Shataarah. Watch your step with me, he grunted angrily.
I took a step closer to him. "No, I'm afraid you don't know who you are dealing with. You're the one playing with fire. There is no way you will survive without us, Thompson. The serpeants will get you too. They will infect you and your crew." A smile flashed across my face. "Oh how I wish to be there when the serpeant spawn bursts through your rib cage. How I would like to hear your cries for help."
"You better start worrying about your own future, Shataarah." He responded. I could see his face turning red with vexation.

It had been about two hours. I heard the ticking of the clock above the roar of silence as I sat in the small white room all alone, staring blankly at the wall.
I sat with my knees against my chest, pondering the happenings of the outside world. Only one window looked out to the hallway, but it was not enough to actually see anything. It was my only porthole of escape, yet it would be impossible to try and physically escape through it.
Awhile before, I had heard Kay's voice, loud with rage, out in the hallway, arguing with the current guard on duty. He had wanted to come in the room with me, and I wanted nothing more, but I knew he had a jobn to do and I was somewhat glad when the guards told him no was the absolute answer. His presence was conforting, but it was not enough and when he left I was overcome by a feeling of sadness followed by anger. In this moment of anger, I grabbed a heavy glass paper weight off the desk next to me and threw it as hard as I could at the white metal door. A large dent was left where it had hit, but nothing more.
One of the guards had heard the clatter and peeked in through the window, shaking his head.
Still I waited and stared. It felt like days were going by, and for all I knew it could have been days. I was afraid...afraid of the fact that I most likely had been infected by the Serpeants. I was there...I saw them....I knew I was probably going to die.
I drifted in and out of sleep, when finally I was awoken by pain. It was a strange sort of pain, the kind that hurts, yet has no source. I laid on my side, still waiting, now in pain, and expecting my death.
Suddenly I heard a large clatter in the hallway. An ALtercation of sorts was taking place and next thing I knew, something was fidgeting with the door knob. I stayed where I was, thinking the worst was to burst through that cold metal door. Finally after must fidgeting with the handle, I heard the c o c king of a gun and off blew the lock. In stepped Kay and laying behind him was the unconcious guard.
I attempted a smile and tried to rise, but a shiver ran through my body so hard that I collapsed back onto the hard tiled floor. Kay immediately ran to my side.
*Next part of the fic. There is still much more, but I must eat dinner. And no this isn't part of the story, cy. lol*
