I wrote a series of Dragon poems. ;D
The White Dragon by Master Warious on Mar 23
The moon glints off the scaled back It's brilliance shining in a thousand colors His singing can be heard in the night Beautiful majesty in the sky
He slowly soars across the desert Looking for a place to drink He flies with grace on wind Searching for a place to think
He spies a cool oasis from afar Calm inviting waters promise purity Flying closer he can see a form A shivering child alone and pretty
Quietly he comes to rest in soft warm sand And nestles the sleeping child to his chest Water from the pool could wait A child lost needed to be made safe
The white dragon waited 'til dawn Before the child woke from rest He took the child to the palace It seemed to him what was best
Then off the Dragon flew again To seek his wisdom and a bed The calm oasis called him back And rest he found with wisdom sound

The Black Dragon by Master Warious on Mar 27
Deep, deep down in a cave Far back in the darkest corner Lays sleeping in the dark shadows Black Dragon, ruler of the night
Morning fades to evening Obsidian eyes awake No star or moon does shine But no clouds does darkness make
Ebony scales shift and shake Onyx claws stretch and sheath The dragon shakes his head Sensing in the night defilers
He stalks out of his black cave Spreads his wings in night The Black Dragon spreads his wings And on silent wind takes flight
A scream of terror heard Echoes through the air A victim of blood massacre The Dragon knows this mind
He swoops down hard and fast His mind bent on the prey And somewhere in the night A human life gave way
The killer took to faster flight In search of another victim But the Dragon Lord of Night Will never let another human bitten
The Dragon found his prey As it flew around a house A Vampire, you know must feed On blood of another martyr
The vampire never turned Completely unaware The Dragon was closing in And save the next poor victim
In one fell swoop and crunch The Black Dragon did find lunch A vampire is no good Once it becomes a dragon's munch

The Blue Dragon by Master Warious on Mar 27
Far, far down in the crystal sea Deeper than any creature can be Lies resting in quiet peace Is a Dragon none has seen
His scales are sapphire blue The eyes are beautiful cerulean His size is both large and small Depending where he's sleeping
Suddenly his mind awakes He can feel some thing's trouble He knew it was much greater Than a sharks meal's last bubble
Up and up he beats his wings Designed for water and flight Until he hears the sound And sees the light sun brings
Too the right the dragon sees A large whale shaped mechanid And to the left the blue one sees A ship of people sinking
The Dragons takes a moment to see The submarine attacking Sending torpedoes off to wreak Again he hears the people screaming
Off like a flash under water The Dragon Lord of Seas Decides to tear the sub asunder Hidden so the people do not see
More ships arrive After the deed was done And people's shouts of fear Turned to 'We are saved!'
Back down does the Dragon go To sleep again once more And dreams of past ships sank Will never haunt his soul

The Red Dragon by Master Warious on Mar 28
Deep within a dormant volcano Lies sleeping in its bright hot magma A creature of legendary renown Many thought died from stigma
But behold the mightiest of all A tried proud creature of old Just waiting to hear fire's call Despising to ever be cold
Bright ruby scales in fire Blood red eyes crack open Who would ever dare raise his ire Ah! A nearby witches Coven
Summoning the great beast Dragons can never be controlled The Red Dragon doesn't feast On the normal fare of old
With a powerful roar of outrage Spread mighty wings through pyre Never to be controlled again by mage Takes flight the Dragon Lord of Fire
Screams of women young are heard The coven that dared raise a fire The Mighty Dragon sees people marred His power will never retire
Breath of mighty flame Consumes the magic circle The witches were to blame To escape the dragon needs a miracle
Suddenly all is quiet once more The witches and circle gone The Red Dragon ceased his roar Departs again for volcano's song

The Green Dragon by Master Warious on Mar 30
Behold the greenest of fields See it circled by emerald mountains Untouched by human hands Unseen by mortal eyes
A small cloud of smoke appears Thinly threading the sky At the base of the greenest mountain A smoking rock of jade
A Green Dragon The last of his kind Sleeping peacefully As time goes by
He opens one emerald eye See his beryl wings expand Lazily he rises up A living jade dragon
He takes to the sky Making not a sound He flies up high Then low to the ground
See his daring acrobatics Twisting, turning, playfully Joy is in his wondrous eyes The Green Dragon at peace
As day gives way to night The Green Dragon lands He settles back on his mound Ready to sleep in peace again

The Amethyst Dragon by GoblinQueen Warious on Apr 03
In a place that is neither here nor there Nor on the earth or in the sky Somewhere in dreamland's realm There lies an Amethyst Dragon
Her scales are royal purple Her eyes are deep lavender Claws are what gave the name Amethyst claws of beauty
She scours the dreamland Always searching for danger With her Amethyst claws All nightmares are destroyed
In the place of bad dreams The claws are gentle Her voice is calming Beautiful dreams in stead
With sweetness of thoughts And candy coated dreams All children rest in peace Because of the Amethyst Dragon
Silently she flies to your window From out of the nighttime sky Bringing you pleasant dreams Filled with all children's delights

The Golden Dragon by GoblinQueen Warious on Apr 06
Deep within a yellow sun What science calls a star Lives something ancient With no concept of time
Brilliant gold scales flash Shifting and shining Teeth and claws of purest white The great Golden Dragon
She flies in and out Around and about The sun of our earth This is her playground
Never may she come Down unto the earth For hot are her fires Reserved for Judgment day
The Golden Dragon Like few others can Enters earth in dreamland Keeping her fires away
She too bringing dreams Dreams of prophecy Visions to little children Who may delight or cower
Her purpose in life To bring messages And then at the end To bring judgment
Oh pity the wondrous one For hers is no happy task She thinks not often of it But forever she mourns the day
The Golden Dragon Lady of Prophecy Queen of Judgment Lover of humans who live

The Silver Dragon by GoblinQueen Warious on Apr 07
On the Darkside of the moon Where none may ever see Amongst the age old craters Lives a creature once known
A Silver Dragon of old That rarest dragon to see Oldest of all draconian breed Yet young and carefree
Her scales shine like polished silver With claws and teeth of snow color Her eyes sparkle like none other She the Silver Dragon of old
Lazily she circles the moon Just keeping out of science sight She presides over all dreams And rules over our night
She watches all earth's dragons Guarding all of them from afar Yet always guiding human minds The most mystical dragon of all
Entering the dreamland She brings dreams of love Dreams of life and death Of things that may be
Her sister dragon never seeing For when meeting does come All the world will come undone For trumpet sounds on judges day
So stay away from the sun And keep to your moon Wait for the summoning call Lest we never dream again
The Silver Dragon Lady of trumpet song Queen of our dreams Lover of quiet peace

The Stone Gray Dragon by GoblinQueen Warious on May 16
High up on a cold bare mountain If you look carefully you can see There! No there, see him sleeping? The Stone Gray Dragon is very old
See the outline of his wings? How skeletal they have become See how the snow falls upon him? Yet he doesn't stir to move them
He is a very old dragon for earth Too old to fight anymore knights Weary from thousands of years in life All the warriors have forgotten him
See how the rocks have grown on him He has lain there for so very long He has forgotten how to fly and fight How sad he must be, the Stone Gray Dragon
But look at what is approaching him! A young girl of about nineteen Her cloths are tattered and worn She shivers in the cold snowy air
See the Dragon's clear smoky eye He has opened it to see who approaches The girl cries in sadness to see him Such a wonderful creature now forgotten
She pleads with him, "Get up! Get up!" But the dragon is too warn and old "Please get up!" She tries again "My village is under attack, we need you!"
Slowly he stirs under the weight The rocks that have formed on his back Breaking loose the fall to the side And with renewed strength he stands
With a mighty roar he takes the girl In his back she flies guiding him The village stormed by tanks and soldiers The cannot see the Dragon in the sky
He takes a deep cold breath And sends forth a stream of lava The tanks melt under his assault Soldiers scream in pain and terror
Through it all the village is unharmed It's people safe from the Dragon's roar He sweeps the enemy away like dust And restores the girl to her people
The village wished to celebrate But the Stone Gray Dragon was tired He, to old to party like before Flew back to his mountain rest

The Great Evil One - Cursed Dragon by GoblinQueen Warious on Aug 18
One by one you've met the cast Now we have come to the last Cautiously we must slowly creep Pray that we can't disturb his sleep
Behold the Great Evil One He who must never see the Son For it has been written That all he sees will be smitten
Beware of this Dragon before you Though his scales are green and blue I warn you of his great evilness For he will destroy all goodness
His eyes are colored ruby red He will use our death for his bed See his claws of bloodstained gold 'The Destroyer' who is foretold
Come let us slip away quietly Before things get unsightly Pray the ancient, Lucifer, sleeps For upon our souls he slowly creeps
Now you have seen the beast who was foretold To be released when the land grew old Come let us seek shelter back this way With the dragons both green and gray

The Dragons of Earth; Part One by GoblinQueen Warious on Aug 20
Hear the Drums and trumpets sound Now the fifes and flutes and pipes They are calling the Dragons of Earth The time has come for them to rise
Now come the White Dragon and Black Here fly the Blue and Green Lords They come with solemn purpose today Last, the Red and Stone Grey Dragons come
"You have been called because of your nemesis The Great Cursed Dragon is stirring. Your Master says 'It is not yet time'." The Herald Angel did announce to them.
"Then we must hold him down!" So cried the Red Dragon of Fire "He must not rise before his time!" Agreed the Blue Dragon of the Ocean
"Only four of you may go this time The White and Black Dragon are bidden to stay. Another purpose is in store for these two." So the Herald Angel did reply.
"But the Stone Grey Dragon is old How can he hope to hold it down?" The Black Dragon protested for his friend. "He is tired from his long life."
"Be quiet young Dragon!" Spoke the Grey "I have strength enough for this task. Be honored that you are even here. Be honored that you have been chosen."
With no more words to be said The Herald Angel spoke again, "Now go four Dragons of Earth Fly quickly to Earth's aid!"
The Grey Dragon flew to the North The Red Dragon flew to the South The Green Dragon flew to the East The Blue Dragon flew to the West
Each took their own path Four directions to hold down one For the Great Cursed Dragon must be stayed Lest all Earth fall to its sway
So down each Dragon flew To protect their people longer They each held one part tight To keep the Cursed Dragon from flight
