so the movie's coming out soon, and the fans of the insanely awesomen book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy eagerly await that translation of our imagination onto flat, imposing silver screen. HHGG brought us the realization that we are NOT alone in the universe, but it might be better that way. The Guide's entry for Earth: mostly harmless. Don't panic.

Looks pretty good. I want to see this over SW, but I could wait till both movies come out to DVD. I have to look and see what other moviesare coming out. I haven't heard too much other than Charlie and the Chocolate factory, SW, and HHGG. I believe POTC 2 was supposed to come out this summer, but I don't think it will...Johnny's been working on all these other movies lately. Corpse Bride is going to take forever to come out! It takes years for them to make a movie like that! I wonder how long they've been working on it.

Double post, I know, bad girl.
Anywho, saw Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy and it was really really cool/awesome/neat/funny/good. I was surprised at how good the movie actually was. They added new stuff into it, while keeping a lot from the book.
I was laughing most of the time. Zaphod was hilarious, and then there was Ford with his towel.
Trillian: Zaphod, are you an idiot? No, I mean seriously.
Oh, and the POV gun! OMG I need one of those! Yeah, Marvin sure showed those Vogons with his depression. That part was actually really cool. Oh man, when the ship committed suicide in the book was so hilarious. Dunno why they didn't put that in the movie. The part where they all turn into yarn dolls was oh too funny as well.
...and then there was the pansies. "Oh no, not again"

I think i'm going to see it this weekend. Silver, have you read the other books? The 'trilogy of five'? I have the second one, read the fourth or something, and utterly skipped the third. *shrug* It was never meant to make sense anyway...

Zaphod Beeblebrox...need I say more?? *Cracks up madly*
Yeah, Zaphod had cool clothes, Humma Kavula was deeply disturbing, and Marvin was just annoying. Upon watching this movie for the second time I realize that Trillian is a horrible actor. Ugh...
Anyway, the movie wasn't as funny the second time. My brother liked it though. The beginning of the movie is really annoying.

Trillian was dislikable. Just whoever the actress was...and the beginning was funny, but they should have shortened the sequence.
