*thinks* i am wearing black pants today... and i was wearing a black shirt yesterday... am i smart enough to MATCH my outfits in the mornig? of corse not.
stars are fun, as is the night... most of the time... i HATE nights when there are soo many clouds that you cant see moon nor stars. it annoys me. i like looking down into the valley and seeing all the city lights. i could NEVER live in the city-- its too bright with the street lamps and all-- plus the smog would hide the moon and stars. i LOVE being a farmgirl... and im the same way silver! i always go take care of the chicks at night, cuz in the day im trying to do a bunch of stuff like schoolwork and other stuffs. its more peacefull to go out at night. my chicks make weird noises at night. like their own version of snoring...
I LOVE SECRET WINDOW!!!! it was soo coolio, AND it had johnny depp in it! *shreik* but i didnt like the ending... i thought there should have been a REAL murderer. like *doesnt want to give anything away to anyone who might not have seen it* SPOILER ALERT! other then himself, like i thought that other guy *cant remember name* should have been a real person, not *johnny* gone mad.

Na,poleon Dynamite was totally not depressing. Mind-numbing, maybe, but not depressing. I am definatly a night person. Full moons rock, especially if you howl at them, and stars are epic when there is no smog from power stations, and night air feels more...wierd. There are people who LIKE darkness. I'm sure there are some people who LIKE being depressed *coughDuncough* but that then is not depression. Is it? Depression by definition is unpleasant. Darkness, I mean dramatic darkness, not true darkness, can be fun. Take for example my alter ego/dark side Morndakiel, who like to speak in third person and is obsessed with Sith. For her, it's added drama or emotion, something needed in stories or whatever. I don't really know the psychology behind "Goth" mentality. If any of ya'll do, I shall gladly add it into my files on "human behavior I used to not understand."

I have to see Napolean Dynamite... Was it good??
You, have a point there Cy.. I mean we can't really go around saying that all "Goths" are depressed.. That would be bad.. Some just like to wear the clothing and they fit in there..

lol, i like how you did the "scroll over this to read" thing MFB! yeah, i dont think its good to read this stuff late at night. i am definently WITH cy on EVERYTHING she said in fact... I am definatly a night person. Full moons rock, especially if you howl at them, and stars are epic when there is no smog from power stations, and night air feels more...wierd. If any of ya'll do, I shall gladly add it into my files on "human behavior I used to not understand." i, as THE and all them... is NEVER depressed, i am a very happy person. however i hae an alias on ME:I and sometimes i just get IN to her mood-- and times like those, i like evil things... those are also (however) the times that i feel depressed for no reason... *sigh* its a most unpleasant feeling. and then, i usually releive that depression by being totally EVILin RPGs. (dun i think you trust-worthy, if you think you know who i am pm me here or as TheHotEye on ME:I, if you get it right i will confess. or if you dont care then *shrug* then just disregard this. though, i'd prefer if you dont tell anyone on ME:I) i am totally a night person! i HATE getting up in the morning but i love staying up late and going outside into the wild dark!!!

Oh THE, if u feel depressed sometimes it tis ok. Depression is human nature. Everyone gets temporarily depressed at some point. What I don't think is natural are people who get like chronic depression. I don't want to say they are stupid or anything, but I am not sure how you classify those people. I mean how can you just BE depressed ALL the time without a reason? I don't get that. And how can you take medecine to fix that??!! Someone has got to explain that one to me. I think you kind of have to have a weak mind to be chronically depressed. There really is no excuse for it. I mean I know people who have had plain rotten lives, maybe even beyond rotten, and they are not depressed, so what are all these people complaining about. I just think most of them don't know a good thing when they see it.
I think the same thing with ADD and Hyperactivity. I mean, how can you take medicine for those without the medicines messing with your mind? I just don't get it.
You thought Napoleon dynamite wasn't depressing? I kind of thought it was, but it a hilariously funny kind of way. It was funny because we made my dad watch it and we are always joking with him about depression. (kind of like an inside joke. He always acts like he is depressed, even though he is not. lol he has to be the grumpy old man.) So when we went to see Napoleon we were like "Oh dad, that movie is like ur life....Depressing."

well Napoleon was pretty depressing, but laughing at his dumb life wasn't.
You must choose to be depressed or not. It is a state of mind. If you go around saying WOOHOO and visiting cool non-depressing websites like this one where you have friends, and if you listen to good music and look at good pictures, you then will not be depressed. That's how I manage it anyway. Also chickens are very undepressing. Has anyone ever seen a depressed chicken?

Oh, I have actually. It was a bantie hen who was very depressed all the time because no body wanted her in their group. She would just walk around all sad and mopey like.
I've also had a depressed duck. She was depressed because all these big roosters kept picking on her and trying to mate with her. When I moved the duck to another pen she got all happy again and yoould definitely tell. She was quiet before and all of a sudden got very loud again.

I am not depressed because I am HAPPY. And an ESP, and a Star Wars fan, and a Christian, and because there are so many more things to do with your life than be depressed.

Any living thing can become depressed, even fish.
Many people think animals don't have emotions because they classify them as being "dumb" or "stupid", or along the lines of "they are lower then us. we are almighty". None of this is true at all.
Each animal is samrt in their own way. Of course I have met stupid dogs, and stupid chickens, etc, but that was only a few that just had that personlity. Some animlas are even more brilliant then ourselves. I mean, what makes humans so special? We have no instincts, no skill such as flying, or swimming under water, and we destroy most everything we touch, not to mention we are always in war with someone. Animals are perfect. They have wings, fins, gills, claws, sharp teeth. They don't need to build things to survive like we do, they can survive with just what they were born with.
If we were to watch animals, we would gain so much, but no one seems to want to just sit down and watch a flock of chickens, or a school of fish. They all think, ooo look at the pretty animals, but they fail to think about what those animals are. Each one has a different personality. Each one has different likes and dislikes. Each one has different emotions. Each animals is capable of making decisions.
I don't understand how people can think animals don't have emotions. How can something even live without them? Why do animals get mad? Why do they feel scared? I mean, we've all seen a dog with his tail between his legs? What was that u ask?....Simply put, that was emotions. Animals feel sad when another dies. Elephants mourn for years after another of their family dies.
I just think ppl these days think animals are just so much lower then us. Back hundreds of years ago, who did the natives worship?- the animals. Were these people efficient? Yes. I think we would just gain so much knowledge from studying animal psychology and it would advance our civilization soo very much. But sadly, not many others feel this way....

I agree, I just need to think more about what exactly the difference between animals and people is. (remember always that opinions are heavily based on point of view.) We seem to be so "advanced"...yet we wrck things. Bad. At what point did we start to fall? What changed...more theology.
Thinking hard makes depression/sadness go away. You just forget about it.

I guess animals do have feelings.. I don't think htat we as humans really want to know what type of emotions animals have.. We are caught up trying to cure diseases for humans that we don't realize that there are other things besides humans that have lives and who need help too sometimes.. Should we pay more attention to animals?? I don't know.. but, maybe we should and it would open up a whole of oppurtunity for everyone..

I'm not certain exactly on your beliefs, Silver, and so, I shall not enter into some idiotic, arrogant theological statement on the importance of anamals. But here are my thoughts on it.
Anamals are coolness, and I respect some, dislike others. Anamalls are, however, lower than us in nature. but that does not mean we should abuse them. A person who abuses or mistreats an anamal will most likely do so to people as well, or so I've heard.
To a certain point, anamals do make their own decisions on things. Obviously, when I call my dog, she sometimes disobeys and runs instead. (lol) She is deliberately running, not just misunderstanding me.
BUT! On the other hand, anamals have the insticts which you mentioned. They "instinctically" follow these instincts, but not all of them are proper for us to follow. I would cringe if humans sniffed other's behinds to decern their gender. BLECH!
That is what I must dissagree with you on, Silver. By no means are anamals "perfect." In the sense of materials, well then yes, they are well equipped. But you did ask what makes a human so special. I am not entirely certain, but if you are speaking of body, then it is our creation in the image and likness of the Almighty that makes us special; spiritually, it is our eternal soul. Again, I don't know your religious beliefs, so mine may not be in accord with yours. And so I shall say no more on the matter...I'm sure KT and Cy could tell you that I can be a real arrogant jerk regarding religion battles, and I am full of reget for it. =P
