Old threads are old, and polls are awesome, so here is an entirely unbiased poll for you. Pick a favourite, discuss. I haven't seen District 9 yet, so please no spoilers (and I'm sure it's awesome).

He was cool. It would be kind of hard to keep up a conversation with him though...unless of course his vow of silence didn't keep him from writing his replies to others.

Wait, what?! I got sidetracked with the comment about Snake-Eyes, er, on ESPS.
And yes, shameless bias, I loved G. I. Joe, mostly because of him. It was entertaining, if not all that classy.
And, yes, I forgot Star Trek. *is ashamed* I think that one was the best, really the most well-done, of the summer (barring District 9, which I still haven't seen).
No Star Wars movies came out this summer! (Unless I missed something big.) I can't believe I'm saying this, but the way the quality has devolved-- no more SW movies please!

Here here! I'm getting too confused reading the books and then watching the shows. They don't line up along all the plot points which makes it frustrating.

The Clone wars is officially failing. They forced Karen Traviss to stop writing >.< >.< >.< >.< >.< <.< <.< <.< <.< <.< <.< It wasn't that enjoyable in the first place, but to force her to stop writing SW because her books would eventually contradict the show, IT *upset*ES ME OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the books were always better. I don't even want to watch the Clone Wars anymore. I'll always enjoy reading the books, but for ****'s sake, just shut the clonewars people up, shut it down, and then move onto making a movie about Jacen and them.

Lucasfilm said that Traviss couldn't write any more books? Don't they tell the authors what they can and can't do in terms of canon, basically commission them, anyway? I liked Karin Traviss' most recent book.
