So after watching the first Twilight movie, I have to say I am looking forward to a movie that will redeem the vampire reputation. Sparkly vampires that obsess over human love just doesn't do it for me.
My brother played the trailer for Daybreakers and it looks like a really good movie. I'm not sure when exactly it comes out, but I know it's sometime soon in January. I am very excited for this movie! Sam Neil from Jurassic park is in it, as well as Willem Dafoe who played the Green Goblin in Spiderman. There are a few other actors I recognized as well.
Anyone else hear of the movie? The one song from the trailer is pretty awesome too.

I saw the trailers, and surprisingly it didn't look so bad. Defenitely not emosparklyvampirish.
I may or may not go see it, probably won't since I rarely go to the movies >.>

Really? Rarely go to the movies?! Haha, blasphemy! Actually I have quite a few friends who are the same way. I'll scrounge up every penny I can find just to go, but they are getting really expensive. All these 3D movies are almost $14 to see and that's a little ridiculous.
I'm a fan of Sam Neil, so I think I'll like him in this. This is a different part for him though, so I'm interested to see how he does. Usually he plays the "good" character.

For me it's more a matter of do I want to try and annoy the crap out of my dad to get him to watch the same movie with me and laziness. Cause there is no way in hell i'm watching a movie alone in a movie theatre with a bunch of weirdos...

Okay, finally watched the trailer. Interesting how they've taken the "vampires are special" idea and turned it completely around so that almost everyone is one. Some cool-looking weapons too, and the blue cast reminds me of "Underworld". Looks intense.
