Anyone read it? It's a Star Wars novel by Joe Schreiber and it's a horror/thriller. Now, normally I don't like horror or thriller novels, but this one intrigued me, since SW isn't usually associated with that genre.
I'm a few chapters in, and so far so good!

I've read it and I love Trig and Kale. You can't help but what to protect them.
Anyway, after you've finished it, let me know and we can chat about the overall plot.

For sure.
AGH. The only thing is I didn't know it was going to be zombies. I'm not a zombie fan. -___-;;

I haven't read it (yet)---not really a horror/zombie fan myself. I'm interested in what you think, though.

I'm over halfway done, but I don't wanna accidentally give away any spoilers, unless you never plan on reading it. xD

It's one of those "I might read it, but I didn't have enough invested to mind spoilers, and am interested" situations. Go ahead. ^_^ I knew the twist in KotOR before I played, and it was still shocking.

Okay well, since I don't like zombies, the only thing keeping me actually reading the book is because Han Solo and Chewie showed up. So I know *someone* is getting off the ship alive. Although the gore in the book is really amazing. I'm not a fan of peoples insides, but the sheer detail of things described has me hooked.

*Guiltily raises hand* Sorry about that Cy. I was in a state of shock when I talked to you.
I'm not a fan of zombies either but at least its not a Chapter 18 kind of disturbed...more a...well I can't talk about it yet. Oh well, when the time comes we'll chat.

It certainly was an interesting read. At first, I thought Han and Chewie showing up was a bit...much. I thought the story would've been more suspenseful if it was just minor characters. But, its Han. And Chewie. I really liked it!

At which part? I knew it was going to have something odd for the ending, but I didn't like what they did to Kale.

The whole thing, really. As much as I love gory scientific-based details, I don't like zombies. So the whole thing was "ugghh horror, make it stooppp". It was well-written, but not my cup of tea.
I agree, Kale should have survived. I'd like to see a sequel (that ISN'T zombies) about Trig's future, though. That would be neat to see how he and the doctor coped.

Yeah. Kale's fate was epically saddening.
Oooh! That sequel would be great! And a good read, I'm sure.
